Vibrant London

Hi everyone! Have missed you all and hope you are all doing well. It’s been exactly a week since my son and I arrived in London. Don’t have a wireless connection at home so it’s difficult to post on my blog but I wanted to tell you that I am loving London so far. It’s so vibrant ; the other day on the way to the bank we watched two brilliant street performances and got to see Chinatown. I Iove the freedom of expression and the self sufficiency of this wonderful city. So so different to the privilege and slave culture of where we were. The self serve at the supermarket is great and my son is settling slowly. It’s cold and our flat is tiny but its in a great location. I will have to wait a few weeks until he gets a school place which means that will delay my job hunting but it’s all going to be ok, we are going to be ok I feel it.

I have me to rely on and I have all the resources I need to face the challenges. Sending you all much love from vibrant London.

  1. I lived in London for 7 years and I still miss it. It’s a wonderful place! I will be coming on the 3rd of April to do a course in coaching and I am so very excited! I am glad you are settling in! You sound very optimistic and strong! Well done you! xx
