Looking forward

It’s so easy to get stuck. Stuck in a place physically, stuck in a particular mindset, stuck in a painful feeling.

Making changes and seeing things with a fresh new perspective takes hard work and effort. It takes honesty and boldness to step out into places that you haven’t walked before.

Seeing yourself in a different light takes self-love and self-awareness and a willingness to embrace reality.

As I do all these things and share them with you on this blog, I feel that I am learning and growing right before your eyes. There are hard days and good days; all of which I share with you.

I am going to be doing a skydive in less than three weeks time. I will be free falling from a plane 13000 feet above the ground. I trust that the universe will look after me as it has done up to now. It’s a tandem jump so I will be securely strapped onto a trained instructor all the way. I don’t have to do anything except enjoy the view!

I will be moving back to London by Spring next year so that is something else I am preparing for and I hope to travel to another country on my bucket list in December. So… there are lots of exciting things I am looking forward to and many many old feelings and thought patterns I want to leave behind. They helped me survive but now is a time for thriving!

We; you and I  and all of us will find our way home.

  1. I admire your passion and bravery. So full of hope and success. It’s so lovely to read and see that the universe is awaiting you. I applaud you as the universe they say applauds action not thought. A smile in my heart for you 🙂

  2. This part is so profound to me on so many layers:

“I trust that the universe will look after me as it has done up to now. It’s a tandem jump so I will be securely strapped onto a trained instructor all the way.”

Not only are you trusting the universe to look after you, but you are trusting another human-being as you free-fall together through the air. How brave is that? You are letting go and being held/holding on. So much to think about there. And as you leap into nothingness and fall … and fall … and fall — one thing will be unchanged. YOU. You have supported yourself always. You will continue to do so. As you let go. And hold. And leap!

    Pure magic.

I cannot wait to hear more! Sending love to you!
